Servant leadership has been so much more than just another school club you join to make your McDonald’s résumé look slightly more impressive. It has been an experience full of life, connection, and a surprising amount of open-mindedness for something that happens at 9:00 in the morning.

Instead of doing the typical school club routine, my teammates and I have actually made a real impact on our community. We have worked with people, helped solve problems, and seen how even small acts can create real change. Along the way, servant leadership has pushed us to grow as leaders and as better human beings. It has taught us empathy, responsibility, and the importance of showing up with a good attitude. By the end of it all, the experience means far more than any résumé line ever could.
